A portable treatment skid may move between sites with different feeds, utilities and operating schedules. Its first flocculant order should therefore support commissioning and qualification, not assume that the product used at a previous location is already approved. Define what the initial quantity must demonstrate before committing to routine supply.

Describe the deployment, not only the equipment model

Record the water source, expected flow range, solids condition and separation arrangement at the receiving site. Identify the available preparation water, storage and power constraints relevant to polymer use. The same skid can behave differently when the feed or utility arrangement changes, even if its nominal throughput remains unchanged.

Specify whether the plant will operate continuously or intermittently and how prepared solution is managed during pauses. Keep the temporary site's handling and environmental controls in place. A mobile installation is not a reason to bypass the product's preparation instructions or the site's required treatment checks.

Link screening to commissioning

Use the jar-test scale-up guide to identify what bench work can establish and what must be confirmed on the skid. Ask Xinqi Polymer for named candidates and a practical sample plan. The polyacrylamide supply range can inform availability, but the receiving-site duty still governs qualification.

Keep the installation checks separate from the product comparison. If flow measurement, dosing calibration or separation equipment is not functioning as intended, a poor commissioning result may not say much about the candidate. Resolve those uncertainties before using the trial to award continuing supply.

Separate the first charge from repeat demand

Estimate the material needed for preparation batches, planned operating stages and documented contingencies. Label the dose basis and retain the assumptions. Avoid placing a full-project order from a theoretical best-case dose before the actual feed has been evaluated.

Discuss packing and delivery constraints with the site team. A temporary location may have limited unloading or secure storage. Ask the supplier to confirm what can be supplied for the qualification stage and keep the repeat-order decision conditional on demonstrated operation rather than on an assumed project schedule.

Close commissioning with an operating record

Record the selected grade, preparation settings, treated conditions and remaining stock. Define when a change of feed or location requires another review. The purchasing outcome should be a reproducible product-and-equipment arrangement for this deployment, not an unsupported claim that one flocculant automatically travels successfully with the skid to every future site.
